I am a vitiligo sufferer. I visited Cuba in March 2009 and tried their treatment but it was taking too long before any results were seen. I discontinued that treatment on August 30, 2009 and started using a herbal skin treatment in Mid-September and within two weeks my skin began to re-pigment.
When I first applied the treatment my skin became very pink within that first week. Two weeks after my first application a brown patch started to move its way up from the bottom of this white patch around my left eye until it totally covered the affected area.

The white patch has re-pigmented. At first the area which has been treated is darker than your natural skin but it gradually returns to its normal natural skin colour.
